This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage provided on products purchased from Shower Shop and how warranty claims are handled.
1.1 All products supplied by Shower Shop include a 12-month warranty, effective from the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Any extended warranties offered are provided directly by the manufacturer and do not form part of your contract with Shower Shop. Manufacturer warranties may require registration and are subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions.
1.3 Warranties apply to domestic use only, unless explicitly stated otherwise by the manufacturer.
2.1 A faulty item is defined as a product that does not function correctly or has a manufacturing defect. Faulty items do not include goods damaged in transit.
2.2 Faulty items must be reported within 30 days of delivery to be considered for return or refund under our Returns Policy.
2.3 After 30 days, faults are handled under the product’s 12-month warranty, which may involve repair or replacement rather than a refund. Warranty claims after 30 days are assessed by the manufacturer and resolved in line with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
3.1 All goods must be fully unpacked and inspected upon delivery and before installation. Protective films, packaging, and coverings must be removed to allow a proper inspection.
3.2 Damaged or faulty goods must not be installed. Once an item has been installed, it cannot be replaced, refunded, or claimed under warranty.
3.3 Shower Shop cannot investigate or accept responsibility for damage or defects reported after installation has begun.
3.4 Customers are strongly advised not to book installers until goods have been delivered, unpacked, and fully checked.
4.1 Damage caused during delivery or handling is not considered a manufacturing fault and is handled under our Returns Policy, not under warranty.
4.2 Any visible damage must be reported immediately on delivery or within 72 hours of receipt. Minor defects that may not be immediately visible, such as hairline cracks, must be reported within 14 days of delivery.
5.1 Any items stored after delivery are stored entirely at the customer’s risk. Shower Shop cannot be held responsible for damage that occurs between delivery and installation or relocation if it is not reported within the stated inspection timeframes.
6.1 If an item is suspected to be faulty and needs to be returned for inspection or testing, the customer is responsible for return costs initially.
6.2 If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, remedies will be provided in line with the manufacturer’s warranty terms. Where applicable, reasonable return costs may be reimbursed.
6.3 If no fault is found, the item will be returned to you at your expense.
The warranty does not cover:
8.1 Shower Shop is not liable for installation costs, removal costs, or any indirect or consequential losses arising from faulty or damaged products.
8.2 Warranty remedies are limited to repair or replacement unless otherwise required by law.
